Why Buy From UsRuston · Lincoln Parish · I-20Est. 2006
You're not buying
from a chain. You're
buying from the Ferons.
Three and a half decades in the car business. Two generations running the floor. One family that lives where you live — and builds dealerships they'd want to walk into themselves.

A Note From The Showroom Floor
At Courtesy, the name on the door is the name of the family that runs the place. When you walk onto our lot, you're not meeting a rotating cast of regional managers — you're meeting the people who own this dealership, live in this community, and have to look you in the eye at the grocery store on Saturday.
The Feron Story
A career built one deal at a time — and a dealership built to last.
Rob Feron started selling cars in 1989. What came next is 35 years of learning the business the right way — and nearly 20 of those years planted firmly in north Louisiana.
1989
The start. Rob Feron begins his automotive career at Riser Shows Hyundai in Little Rock, Arkansas.
1991
Ten years at Northpoint Ford, Little Rock. A decade in one store — learning sales, service, and the craft of a deal the way the business used to be learned.
2001
Home to Louisiana. Rob returns to Shreveport and joins Chevyland with the Montgomery family, where the shift to General Motors begins.
2006
Ruston — and roots. Rob moves to Ruston and purchases Hopkins Chevrolet Pontiac Cadillac. The Feron family plants the flag that still flies today.
2016
A state-of-the-art showroom opens. Courtesy Chevrolet GMC debuts a brand-new facility in Ruston — the kind of dealership most towns this size never get. That same year, Robert Feron joins the business and takes the GM seat.
2017
The second generation grows. Christopher Feron joins the organization and begins the path to running his own store.
2019
Doubling down on Ruston. Rob acquires Brennan Dodge and launches Courtesy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram — with Christopher stepping in as GM.
2025
A second state-of-the-art showroom. Courtesy CDJR opens its brand-new facility in Ruston — the second major investment this family has made in this town in under a decade.
Family & Leadership
Decisions get made here. Not in Dallas. Not in Detroit.
This is a family-run operation in the truest sense of the word. Rob Feron is the dealer principal. His son Robert is the General Manager of Courtesy Chevrolet Buick GMC. His son Christopher runs the CDJR store down the road. Three Ferons. Three decision-makers. Zero corporate middlemen.
Here's why that matters when you're writing a check for a new Silverado or signing a lease on a Sierra: family-owned stores make decisions differently. We're not trying to hit a quarterly number for a board in another state. We're trying to earn a customer who'll bring their son in for his first truck ten years from now.
That changes how we price, how we trade, and how we handle a problem when something goes sideways — because it eventually does, and what matters is who shows up to fix it.

Built In Ruston. Reinvested In Ruston.
Two showrooms. One town. No accidents.
2016
Courtesy Chevrolet Buick GMC
A ground-up, state-of-the-art GM facility built for the way trucks, SUVs, and service actually get sold and serviced today. Home to the full Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC lineup.
2025
Courtesy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram
Our second state-of-the-art showroom — opening this year. A multi-million-dollar commitment to Ruston made nearly a decade after the first one. Same family. Same town. Bigger footprint.
Nobody builds two brand-new dealerships in a town this size by accident. Every expansion means more local jobs, more local technicians, and more reason to do this right the first time. That's what a real community dealership looks like — not a slogan, a balance sheet.
Why Courtesy
Seven reasons the smart money buys in Ruston.
01
Family-owned since 2006 — by the same family today.
The Ferons don't just operate this store. They own it. Every decision happens in Ruston, not in a regional office three states away.
02
35+ years of experience behind every deal.
Rob Feron has seen every market cycle, every sales tactic, and every kind of trade. That experience anchors every appraisal, every finance conversation, and every service ticket that moves through our building.
03
Two state-of-the-art showrooms built in Ruston in under a decade.
That's what reinvestment in a community actually looks like. Not a billboard. Not a sponsorship. A building — and then another one.
04
The full GM lineup under one roof.
Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC — from a Trax to a Silverado 3500HD to an Enclave Avenir. One stop for the entire General Motors truck and SUV catalog.
05
GM-certified technicians who see Silverados every day.
Not a shop that sees one GM truck a month. Your Silverado, Sierra, or Tahoe gets the right diagnosis the first time — and a parts inventory built around what north Louisiana actually drives.
06
Two generations of Ferons working the business.
When something needs an owner's attention, an owner is on site to give it. Not a voicemail. Not a manager. The Ferons.
07
Built for the I-20 corridor, not a metro market.
We know the difference between a Ruston buyer, a West Monroe commuter, a Lincoln Parish work-truck customer, and a Tech alum shopping from out of state. We price and present accordingly.
Come see us. Walk the lot. Meet the Ferons.
If you're shopping a new Silverado, a Sierra, a Tahoe, an Enclave, or anything else wearing a GM badge — you have options up and down I-20. What you don't have is another dealer owned by a family that's been in Ruston almost 20 years, with two sons running the stores, and a reputation they're not willing to trade for a short-term win.
